Precision is crucial in medical technology. Together with our customer Prothea Technologies, we have developed a manually operated device that can be used to quickly and safely cut catheter blanks to the desired length. The combination of different materials presented a particular challenge, as it required varying cutting forces and a cutting path along the circumference. From the initial idea to the design and final implementation, close communication between our development team and the customer was crucial to the success of the project. The result is a practical and robust solution that can be seamlessly integrated into existing production processes.
