💉 Medical technology and agile working 🤸 are mutually exclusive?
Not in our opinion. In medical technology, patient safety ☂ is the greatest good, which means that extensive documentation, verification and testing are sometimes necessary. Agile working 🤸 enables fast 🚲 project results. We took a look at SCRUM techniques as part of a training course at digitalHUB Aachen e.V.
Here's what we learned:
- The rapid iterative development process from SCRUM can also be combined with waterfall models/milestones, as goals are set that are worked towards
- The constraints that the field of medical technology sets, must be kept (e.g. documentation cannot be neglected)
