Visit from FH Aachen to evos GmbH and sphairlab GmbH 👏
We were pleased to welcome Professor Dr. Christina Feldmann 🎓 (FH Aachen) with her course “Artificial Organs” as part of the Master's degree course “Medical Technology” at evos GmbH and sphairlab GmbH at our site on the Aachen Merzbrück research airfield.
After a theoretical excursion 📊 into the development and creation process of a medical device, the practical part 🛠 followed, which focused on the testing of products/components. Dr. Paul Heinen and Daniel Sürken were able to give the students an exciting insight into the day-to-day work of medical device development. We were very pleased to be able to present the topics of packaging validation, bonding and tensile testing.
We wish Prof. Feldmann continued success in developing the subject area of “Device and Process Engineering in Medicine”.
